  1. Can any of you comment on the quality of RCA dvd players?
one salesperson told me that they are crap and have much less quality then panasonic and sony.
but I am very interested in the new drc300n rca dvd player because it plays mp3pro but am worried about the quality of this company.

    thanks guys

I've got an RCA player, and it's great. It's not a drc300n, it's an RC5240P, but it will play *almost* anything I put in it - XSCVD, XVCD, DVD+R, DVD+RW... And the picture looks amazing, both through the A/V cables and the component cables. I've heard that Sony DVD players are pretty good (pretty much anything Sony is going to be good) but I love my RCA player. Check and see what people say about the player in the DVD player section. If you don't get many responses here, or many posts in the player section, I'd go to a bookstore and take a look in a Consumer Reports book - they may have a web site that you can look on, but I'm not sure.
