Hi,
I am trying to burn some images on to my CDRs, but my drive can only support 650MB medias. Unfortunately the file is much bigger. According to my friend, I can mount it.
But what is that? How do I do it? Does that mean I dont have to burn the image in order to use the file?
Thanks!

Some programs, like CDRWin, install a "virtual" CD player, which acts like a CD player except that it doesn't play actual CD discs, it just plays the image files for CD discs (bin, ISO, img files).
For a large file, you would author it and burn it as a DVD image and then you could play it that way, or if you're just trying to get to 700MB, you would create an image of a VCD or SVCD.
The problem with all of this is that the files have to stay on your harddrive and you'll eventually run out of room.
Also, if you have to play them on your harddrive you might as well extract the base file (mpeg etc) and just play it that way instead of going through the trouble of making and playing a disc image.
