Deinterlacing a PAL DVD with subs

Does anybody know how to or what programs to use to deinterlace a PAL dvd where I have to keep the subtites.

Maybe it's just me or the other 20 people who read your post so far, but to be honest, I don't understand the logic of your question...

You ask about deinterlacing in connection to the subtitles?
Because if it is; Two very separate things, and each has its own way of being processed. If that is not your question; then forget I posted this.

You really should give some more info. What have you done so far with which app. You have a much better chance that people will respond by giving as much as info as possible.
