An iso can be anything. But I guess it's a dvd-video? Then http://www.ntsc2pal.hostrocket.com/index.htm, the only guide that covers converting subs. I guess you could skip the sonic scenarist part if you don't need the original menu back. .

It's a video yes. But the link is dead... Is the program called NTSC2PAL? The subs are not on the .iso actually...

Most DVD players sold in Europe can play NTSC DVDs fine. You may not need to convert.

We have many guides on adding subtitles to DVDs. You will have to mount the ISO with Daemon Tools, rip it to your hard drive and follow the guide to add the subs. Then burn again.

Converting video and subtitles sucks. It's very easy to have problems with both if you do conversions. That's why I advise people not to do this unless they really have no choice.

Ok I'll try just to add subs to .iso first. Do you know any good guide?

Iso is NOT a video format. Extract the content from the iso with daemon tools, isobuster first. Then tell us what file you see.

So I'm gonna mount the .iso file with DAEMON TOOLS Lite and rip it again with DVD Decrypter? After that I can put on the subs?

So, you're starting with a DVD. And you want to convert this NTSC DVD to a PAL DVD? And you also want to add in some subtitles you acquired somewhere?

Yes, it can be done, but you'll have to convert the movie (if not the menus) to PAL first. If you want to make the subs selectable in the final PAL DVD you'll add them in during the authoring stage. The kind of subs you have - the subtitle format - is also a factor in exactly how you add them in. Go to the stickies in the subtitle forum and find the guides to adding subs to a DVD.

However, based on what I've read so far, you're not ready for any of it. You could try FAVC or ConvertXToDVD. I believe they both can do a decent NTSC2PAL conversion without you knowing much at all. I don't know how either handles external subs being added to the DVD.

Do you know how I can convert to PAL with FAVC?

  13. I owe you an apology. It looks like FAVC takes just about any kind of video input except for DVD. I do mine manually, but know that FAVC has a good reputation and that it does PAL<->NTSC. Sorry to waste your time. For future reference, here's a FAVC guide:
