Major,
I seem to have ran into a problem with 0.0.7c. If I enable either 2 pass or 3 pass encoding (V0B -> DivX) and click encode the terminal feedback session isn't launched and ffmpegX appears to hang. mencoder is running but delivers no file output and needs to be manually killed.
I also f0olishly deleted my previous version of ffmpegX (0.0.7a), which was working fine with 2 pass encoding, is there a location from which i can obtain an older 0.0.7 build so I can continue to encode? 0.0.7b would be useful as i'd like to try 3 pass encoding.
If you need system specs let me know.

GuestI didn't test 2-pass but in 3-pass the audio file is encoded to your ~/Documents folder (frameno.avi). After encoding ffmpegx shows the optimal bitrate and after choosing it it opens the terminal and runs the two video encoding steps. Don't delete the frameno.avi and the divx2pass.log until encoding is completely over as both are needed.Originally Posted by cremegg
