Hi I have a problem using the Two Pass encode option. I am trying do put 2 Xvids onto 1 DVD-R the total time of both vids is 2h 45 mins and when using the Two Pass option the second file seems to get messed up and when its finished the .MPG for file 2 is 20.0 KB the first file ends up as 1.80gb.
I also had this problem when I was trying to put 3 episodes of Desperate Housewives on to a DVD-R I now download the .MKV versions rather than the .AVI ones because sometimes I had problems finding episodes where the audio would stay in sync. It was the first time that I used .MKV that I had a problem and I thought that one of the episodes was messed up.
If I don't use Two Pass encoding it works fine.
I have only had this problem since upgrading to 2.5.3300 so I upgraded to 2.5.3500 and did all of the .NET upgrades and still I have the problem.
Any ideas.
Thanks

This problem has been reported. The current workaround as you have found is to do one pass. One pass encoding has been improved to the point that I have been unable to see a difference from two pass.
Maybe ChrissyBoy can give us a hint if this is on his (long) "to do" list.Dwight
