Under winXP (also tested under win2000) I use VirtualDub 1.5.4. In AuxSetup, I have install the handler. I have also run the proxyoff.reg.
I have install VFAPI Reader Codec V1.05 and run vifpset.bat with the correct path.
Now, I load a file in VirtualDub, apply some filters and can check the output in Vdub.
Video is in full processing mode and source audio in direct stream copy.
I start frameserving and convert the .vdr file with VFAPI.
Problem: the output AVI file contain anly audio, no picture.
NOTE: During VFAPI convertion, I check the frameserver windows of VirtualDub. "Non A/V" and "audio" counters increase, but "Number of frames served" stay null.
On the other hand, I have tried VirtualDub with Link2 and I get both audio and video. And VFAPI work also with Avisynth.
So, does anyone have an idea ?

Make sure Vdub sees the Video codec - open Vdub, look under Video / Compression
For Vfapi. If it does not you must re-install the codec (not just the reader)~~~Spidey~~~

Under VDub / Video / Compression, I have VFAPI Reader Codec 1.05 with format restriction: Couldn't find compatible format.
Possible reasons:
- Codec may only support YUV
- Codec might be locked
- Codec might be decompression-only
Do you have the same ?
