Good day all, first off thanks chrissyboy for such a easy to use yet powerful program. I have a question using (s)vcd2dvd+, i use it to author, creating my video_ts folder. The size of the the folder is 3.01G, when i then try to import the video_ts folder to dvd movie factory 2 the output jumps to something like over 9G's! Any ideas why this is? I have burt the same video_ts folder with nero and has played fine, and was only 3G's. Thanks for any help anyone may be able to give.![]()

DVD Movie Factory is going to try to re-encode it... and upsample it from 480x480 to 720x480.
I don't know the correct settings to avoid this. I try to avoid using anything from ULead for previously-authored material...

I had the same issue with ulead mf2.. i personally spent way to much time trying to make that program work.. if your just trying to burn the vts, I use nero 5 5 10 35 and burn to dvd video with no problems!! if its menu's your looking for then you may want to give this prog a try.. -
if you want make menu's or so you can use tmpgenc Author you can just import the vob files.

I have actually had a successful burn without menus. Played in PowerPro and on both my Apex and Pioneer standalones. But no success with menus yet. I am starting to get desperate with well over 100GB in movies and TV shows and need to clear my harddrives. Most of my movies will fit 3-6 to one DVD-R so I need a successful menu solution soon or go out and buy Hard Drive number 5.
Personally I detest anything Ulead. Their software has destroyed my Registry on more than one occassion. No fun. The interface for TMPGenc Author is not very friendly.
Of the remaining authoring programs, which ones will import the Video_TS directory and create menus for the VOB files?
Thanks for any and all help and/or suggestions.Best,

Thanks for the info guys, what i am looking to do is add a simple menu to the already author Video_ts folder created by (S)vcd2dvd+. I have burnt the video_ts folder with nero and is great, just want to add a menu to help make selecting the movie to watch easier.
