Ok - I have several SVCD files that I have downloaded but my Toast Titanium 5.03 on a OS9 mac won't burn them.
One is a file with .mpg extension (an SVCD mpg? because quicktime won't play it and it was listed as SVCD in the download).
The other one has an extension of .mv2
Can you experts help this poor newbie learn how to burn these?

.mpeg doesnt necessarly mean SVCD.
SVCD is a mpeg2 file (also named m2v)
VCD is a mpeg1 file
You cant just drop in a .mpeg and assume toast will burn them.
1. you have to package them as an image
2 you have to generate a toast compatible image.
Unfortunately, its been a long long time since ive used 9, so i dont even remember what you do this with!
I suggest going to versiontracker.com and typing in SVCD under MAC OS tab, or something like mpeg and look for a SVCD builder.
OSX there is VCDToolsX so maybe there is a VCDTools for OS9
Do some searching on versiontracker.com
Once you get the files into a .bin image format you can burn them with toast, HOWEVER not all players will accept a toast burned SVCD.
you would use MissingMedia Burner, but its an OSX applicatoin.
You really need to get OSX inorder to fully appreciate the Mac Video Experience.
