    is it posible to connect a vcr to a dvd player and record movies from DVD player?

    If so what do you need to do?

    Yes and no.

    If the movie has Macrovision, and your VCR reads that, and you have no anti-Macrovision device, then no.

    If no Macro on DVD, or old VCR that ignores Macro, or TBC or Sima between DVD player and Macro, then probably so.
