improving quality

ok, i have got a fairly poor quality film on my HD, it is quite dark and its a bit blured but it is ok when you watch it on a small screen, i mean small about 2 by 2 inches.

Is there any way to improve the quality of the video, the audio and video are in sync so all i am looking for is a way to generally improve the quality.

ok, this has been up for a few days and without a reply, so is this not possible to do?

it is good quality on a really small screen, so is there no way to expand the size but keeping the same quality as you do so?
