Help!
I have a Pioneer A04 that has started ejecting any media about 10 seconds after insertion. In fact, it even ejects the drawer when it is empty! I think there may be a problem with a sensor or someting? Has anybody come across this problem and can anyone help?
Many thanks.

It could be a software or hardware problem. Try this. Turn off your computer, unplug the IDE cable to the drive and then turn the computer back on. Insert a disk and see if it ejects it, or watch and see if the tray opens by itself. If it does then it is probably the drive. If it does not try reloading the DVD software and also check for virsuses.

Thanks Mike, but I think I have the answer. Pioneer's tech dept say the problem is a dodgy microswitch on the back of the tray and that I should return the drive for a replacement. Now, where's the receipt......
