I would be grateful for any ideas at all on this one. No one seems to be able to help:
I'm capturing with Premiere 6.5 from my Cannon XM1. Movie capture is fine, device control works fine. But after each capture (ie record, stop and save) I can not get a picture to come through or device control to work properly again until I close the capture window, unplug the camera, then re-plug and re-open. Then it is fine again for another single capture before I have to go through the same procedure again. A very tedious way to work, you'll agree!
Device control does not have a dedicated XM1 setting, but I have tried all the Canon settings (and many others) and none is any better or worse than another. I caprured for months with my old camera on the same system, so I'm pretty sure the probelm is related to the XM1. Can anyone suggest anything, please?
