  1. (newbie question)
Hi I'm trying to convert avi to svcd using guide provided here i.e
(FOOLPROOF AVI,DivX to SVCD using CCE) but I got stuck in section
no.8, that is opening *.vdr file from CCE. Although I save the file as per
guide no.6 as movie.vdr when I try to open it it just shows movie without the .vdr at the back and it won't load. any suggestions? thanks.

I do not use the program, but when using a browser to find a .vdr file, do you select "all files" like we do when we frameserve to TMPGEnc?
    Hello.

  3. Yes I do, when I click all files, actually the word 'movie' appears as in the picture in sect 8 but without .vdr extension at the back (in the open setting picture)

I always label my .vdr "vdr.vdr", so I will know which is which. It may be you have different preferences as to how your files are listed.

save your signpost file as *.vdf instead of vdr.
    thats all.
when browsing the add window in cce you'll need to select show all files.
Anyone tired of his old DVD burner? Why put it into the trash? Contact me! :))))

  6. This may be totally unrelated but.......

Is your windows explorer set to "hide known file types" . If if is then that may be why it only shows movie instead of movie.vdr
