VIEWING DVDR'S

Hello clever people, I am having intermittent problems on finished Dvdr's I have a new nec 1100a writer, and sometimes the results tend to freeze a bit towards the end of the disc and ultimately go to still mode or revert back to a random chapter. I am playing them on a Sony ns405. I wondered if it might be the discs or maybe my dvd rom drive (pioneer 116f) which, whilst reading material and sorting it, has decided to come into difficulties at around 90% complete. Any ideas would be very welcome. Thanks.

Lots of people have trouble with cheaper media freezing towards the end. You can either burn 4gb or less, or get new media. To see if it may be your player/dvd-rom you should probably try a friend's dvd player, etc. That should give you an idea of what your problem is.
