    I just authored my first DVD using Workshop. It is a bunch of children's cartoons for my daughter. Unfortunately, she can only move to certain menu items (there are a total of 12 on the main menu) and I can't seem to control their order! If we hit the right arrow on the remote, we might visit 3 cartoons on the menu, but the rest are not selectable.

    I feel like there is something very fundamental I'm doing wrong.

    Each cartoon is a separate Title with only 1 chapter.

    Can anyone help? A details explanation of what to click on to fix this problem would be immensely appreciated.

    Thanks very much,

  2. If you're just starting out with Ulead DVD Workshop, then I would recommend that you use the menu wizard, if you haven't already.

    I just did a test.

    1. Opened DVD WORKSHOP;

    2. Clicked NEW PROJECT icon;

    3. Gave new project a name;

    4. Clicked the LOAD VIDEO FILE icon and loaded 12 video clips.

    5. Loaded all 12 videos into the TITLE LIST;

    6. Clicked the SHOW/HIDE CHAPTER LIST icon;

    7. Clicked the MENU step button;

    8. Chose the MENU WIZARD option;

    9. Clicked the ADD ALL button;

    10. Clicked the NEXT button;

    11. Clicked the FINISH button;

    12. A remote keypad test screen appears and this is where you should check the functionality of your menus.

    Should work if you follow these steps.

    Hope this helps.

    Jerry,

    Thank you for the detailed directions! I will go through it.

    I've noticed something odd... it works fine when I use the Wizard, but if I draw the menu from scratch, that's when the menu buttons behave strangely. Weird...

    Thanks again.
