  2. I've just bought a DV-350. It's not as compatible as the older gen Pioneer players (my DV444 plays anything!) but it's still pretty good as long as you:

    a) Use decent media - I always use Ritek
    b) Burn in DVD Video mode using Nero (works 100% for me)

I'm going to swap my 350 for something else as a lot of my older burnt movies wont play in it (before I realised to use DVD Video mode in Nero) - I've heard really good things about the Jvc XVN33 in this regard.

  3. I have burned over 200 +R's and they play in ANY DVD player I stick them including

Daewoo 5700, 5800, 5900, APEX 1200, 1500, Sampo 631CF, Panasonic DMR E-10, 20, 30 and HR-S2, Panasonic RA60, Pioneer 444, 343, Apex 500, 600, 660 also plays inmy new portable by initial 5830, I went down to Sams club, Circuit City, Best Buy, Target and they played in any of the players I tired them on including these brands, JVC, Sony, Philips, Orion, Toshiba, Memorix, Sanyo, Fisher, RCA, I have not found a player yet that won't play my Burnt DVD+R's, I use a HP DVD 200i to burn my DVD's.

First I am not someone that can talk DVD's stuff with too much property, but I have a quote I want to share with everyone:
It's been almost a year I bought a Next bese II which for a so good price plays almost everything (DVD/DVD-R/CD/HD-CD/SVCD/VCD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3), and the best, since I travel a lot, it is multi-zone and allows me to buy movies from around the world, movies that later I will be able to watch on my little portable system.

Definetly don't get the Pioneer. I recently bought one and it only played 40% of my DVD+R's. I returnd it and got a Sony NS325. It plays every disk I made with no problems and exellent picture quality for $20 more.

PS. You gotta get rid of that picture with that $hit eating grin.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
