CD-R drive problems with CDRDao

I doublt anyone will be able to help me, but I'll give it a try:

On the CDRDao homepage it says my burner is compatible (Mitsumi 2801TE Firm:1.10) however when I use the settings it says on the webpage it won't burn.

My drive can't do DAO at all, and what gets me is the webpage says it will work with GENERIC-MMC-RAW settings.

The error I get is something like "Error: drive does not support DAO". Does anyone have any suggestions to get this working? I tried other driver settings to no avail.

Why is my drive listed as working when it clearly doesn't?

Have you downloaded and installed the drivers from the CDRDao site + also it could be an ASPI problem (not sure here), so try installing the Nero ASPI or others.
