lol, just posted this in latest news cos I was just gonna put it here but I remembered the last time I did cos the thread got closed cos it should be in latest news

still struggles with levels % sizing tho

Level 1 gave me the option of at least 35% with Road To Perdition Main Title which was far too much cos it shudda been nearer 20% to fit 4.37Gb

I use it to re-encode movies that are only slightly larger thanthe disc by about 1G at most. For longer movies I'm still not that impressed with the quality, hope that te author implements some way of adjusting the shrink percentage manually instead of only using predetermined ones. I still view this as a God-send because if I wanted to keep certain extras that were only about 15-30mins long I used ReMPEG and the process was long and quality made me grind my teeth. With this I can re-encode extras within minutes with good quality.

What are the changes/bugfixes in this version?

  4. I'm trying it right now.. new interface is a bit more cinfusing, but it's easyer in the end..

still have the damn compression level. If the author give us manual compression %, this one will be better than DVD2one.. but for now, I will still stick to dvd2one

  6. First off, DVDshrink has made life soooo much easier for me and I'm very appreciative.

To me it would make sense if when an application is released that some notes and procedures would come along. I guess they probably are and I'm just impatient but have something new with limited information makes me feel like I'm an Ape on Planet of the Apes and I just picked up a new laser.

  7. My very bad.

When you download the app it had an html help and a link to a guide on doom9.
