hey all i've been snooping around the forums looking for some post to help me out but i just cant find any...i have svcd in images .bin and .cue i burnt them using nero and when i playback them on my computer they usually have skips at the back and errors here and there which usually makes it "inviewable" nearing the end of the movie . i've tried burning different movies and it still has the same problem. is there a problem with nero of my disc ? it cant be my .bin image because i used daemon tools and mounted the image and played the movie no problems given. please advice TIA!

Yep, I've had the same problem. Try to burn at the lowest speed, that did the trick for me. Dunno if it's NERO/burner or the disc (used both CD-RW & CD-R) perhaps a combination?
Must say that even the slow burned CD's sometimes freeze at the end of the move, but with a quick pause/play action the movie continues.
If anybody could post a "real" solution (burning at the lowest speed is just a workaround ) .... please.

  4. when you get cue and bin files that people compress movie into.. i suggest using Goldhawk CDRWIN. that is a very reliable program for burning bin files.. i use NERO too.. but no when burning bin files.. they seem to have some bugs in those area..

    Floot,

Take a look at this link http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/burning_cuebin_images.html#cdrwin it also has a link to a site where they explain about the bug in ALL (yep it says ALL ) versions of NERO.

I've downed Goldhawk CDRWIN v. 3.9c and will do some testing.

When I was burning svcd's I did hundreds of perfect burns with CDRwin.
Not sure what ver. though since I don't use it any more.
All I've got in this world is my balls and my word.....

Tested Goldhawk CDRWIN v. 3.9c with both CD-R & CD-RW, still had the original BIN/CUE on hdd.
Result? Perfect! No freezing or glitches. (burn speed = MAX)
