  1. I've converted 3 AVI files to MP3 today with no problems by using TMPGEnc. I have three other AVI files where the resulting mp3 file has perfect video but no audio. Is there a setting somewhere in TMPGEnc that I'm overlooking? I'm using TMPGEnc to extract the audio from the AVI instead of a separate WAV file. I did use VDUB to extract the audio file separately but using the WAV file produces an MP3 file where the sound is out of synch. Anyone know a way to get the sound out by using the AVI for sound as well as video?

    Thanks!

open the files in g-spot (available in tools section to the left). give us the video and audio info for each file. then we can probably help you.

  3. I checked all 3 files with GSpot and they are all div3 video and MPEG-1 Layer 3 (MP3) audio. The only difference is that the audio bitrates are diferent if that makes any difference. GSpot also says I have the right Codecs installed which makes sense since the audio plays fine when I watch the AVI file. Any help?
