  1. Ok...I got a dvd when insert into decrypter it is a two layers dvd 9. But the thing is the dvd just has two different screen version one is wide screen and the other is full screen one on each side. And so far it wont' let me do only one side because it detect it as a two layer dvd. I was sucecessfully copied the one side I wanted to keep with dvdxcopy onto ONE dvd. So is there a way I can set derypter to derypt only one side, the side I want to keep?

I think you may be mixing up double sided and dual layered. DVD decryter as far as I know can not detect if a disc is double sided. So what ever side you want.......place that face down....and away yuou go.
All I've got in this world is my balls and my word.....

and I don't break them for no one!

  3. I know what you saying but how come dvdxcopy does copy only one side just fine to one dvd and I got the entire movie, but decrypter detected two layers and about 9 gigs of data to rip???

probably dvdxcopy is making more assumptions about what you want, and Decrypter is not.

  6. well...if I turn the gold side down then I guess it won't do it, so I turned the silver side down then it reports as 1 sided so I completed the copy with that side. Somehow with dvdxcopy, I used the gold side and it burned to one dvd. Weird!! Or maybe it was the silver side I was burning with :P Thanks guys.
