For a class, I need to creat a VCD or DVD that will work on the school DVD player, and it doesn't support SVCD.
The mpeg that I have is 1.6 gigs in size, so it has to be a DVD. The first time I tried to burn it directly through ulead MF2 but for some reason when I add the mpeg it shows it as a 5.5 gig file, when its actually only 1.6 Gb. Also I can't play the file through media player (it gives me a out of memory error) but It playes through the MF2 and power DVD.When I click output in MF2 it says "coverting Video" and after 7 hours it only does 2% and then crashes to the desktop.
I tried SVCD2DVD but then It creates a mpa, mpv file, but it crashes right at the end (be sweet 2 error (not sure if i've spelt that right)) Nero won't take mpegs, and when I tried to burn through TMPGencdvd it says the resolution is not viable (480*480) and when I try to convert it, it takes for ever and eventually hangs.
I apologize for this post being too long, I wanted to give as much detail as possible, I've been scouring the dvdrhelp forum for the past 2 days, i can't find a method that works.
