  1. i'm not sure how this guy did it,
    but it's divx avi (i think)

    640x480
    44khz 16 bit stereo
    1795kbps
    about 30 fps
    21 mins and a bit more
    and 272 mb!

    seems like mpeg2 for me since it's like 30fps..
    can someone explain me how i can do this?
    if i capture something at mpeg2 quality, how can i get it to this divx.avi quality?

    WOW.... dr divx

    made my first file. this is a cool program. I can't beleive the quality vs the file sized when compared to the original.

    got to learn more about this process.

    to bad there are not standalone players out there yet. it sucks that you can only watch on computer.

    i dropped a 4.36gig file down to 700megs to fit on 1 cd and the picture and sound are great when played back via divx player 2.1.

    gotta learn more about this.....

    There several stand alone DVD players that will play divx or mpeg4.
