I decided to change from 0594 to 06 because i had a vob file
with a very high bitrate. Jitters all the time and all the
filetypes i made.
06 solved my problem fine !!
But it looks like there is a bug in 06 with interlaced
source material (Yes, there are dvds with such a shit - for
example the german adultrated version of "Total Recall" !)
When I converted either "normally" or by using the
"deinterlace output", every time the picture was too narrow.
screen was 1/3 black, 1/3 flatheaded, arnie 1/3 black .
My workaround:
I cropped in flask to 480 x 288 (remember 576/2 =28
and encoded in ??mpeg to real SVCD-Size (noninterlaced
input 480x576)
hope, somebody finds it useful
Who had the same problem or knows reasons/solutions ?
