    I just want to ask any know which dvd player i can find in Canada that would play everything like svcd, dvdr/w and even divx

    The only standalone I know of that can play Divx files and everything else out there is the KISS DP-450. Here's a link.

    Yep, the kiss 450 or 500 are probably the best, they can play most divx/xvid formats.

    The Kiss is not the only one. The Elta 8882 is also available ( no idea if you can get it in Canada). Go to the forum on this site:

    the bravo dvd player from V. inc. probabaly is best one so far. not only it can play divx, it has a DVI out as well.
