    I am somehow creating costers out of my Datawrite dvd-rw discs, i have burned dvd video onto them but when i use format disc with nero it erases the data but i am unable to write to the disc again? What am i doing wrong or is it i have some bad discs? How does everyone else format their dvd-rw discs prey please tell. Thanx in advance for any help....

    i never bother to format them first though i read somewhere you were supposed to .

    i just write to them and erase them and write to them again ..

    works every time ...

    Do NOT format the discs. Use "Erase rewritable" instead.
    Formatting probably closes the disc from further use.
