How do you burn MP3 on a DVD to play in DVD Player

I have a Panisonic 35S DVD player and it is supposed to play Mp3 from a DVD R Disc. When I burn it through Nero Rom it does not recognize the disk. Is there something Im missing. what is the best why to burn the MP3's so my player reads it. Im burning it on a DVD +R format which I know the player reads. It's just not working with MP3. Any idea's.

Use Data(UDF 1.2) in Nero and make sure your mp3's are CBR and have ID3v1 tags.One way to check it's not the mp3's causing the problem is burn them on a CD-R/W(mode 1,DAO)and try on player.

I got the UDF part, although it is only showing UDF 1.02, 1.50 or 2.01. Also I don't know what the rest means. Sorry I'm just a newbie here.

If your mp3's play on your Panasonic with a CD-R/W then most likely it is Nero or the DVD media giving you the problem.You might have to change the samplerate of your mp3 files to 48khz because some DVD players won't play 44.1khz on DVD also when burning on a DVD+R don't put the mp3 files in a folder.

Whoever said that the 35S is "supposed to" play MP3s off a DVD-R? It says that it plays DVD-Rs and MP3s, not both together. That is a different breed of animal and it WILL NOT WORK!!! There are only a few "low end" players that can read MP3s off a DVD-R and the Panasonic is NOT one of them.

I was only basing it on info from this website, under DVD Player compatibility section. Based on other users they claim that DVD-MP3 is compatible with this player. Obviously for me that remains to be seen. I actually got a lot closer to achiving this, but I don't think my player likes the Memorex DVD disc's. I will certainly let everyone know if I can get it working.
