Hi,
I convert my DVD 2 VCD using the ripper, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc
flow. The mgp image is a bit darker than the original
DVD. I can use VirtualDub to make it brighter, but it
will save back to AVI format. Is there a way to brighten
the image in MPEG1 format?

you can easily change the brightness in tmpgenc, double click under Settings->Advanced->Basic color correction

Hi Baldrick,
Thanks for the response. That does it. I didn't know that I have to double click on that option.
