  1. Man this is a problem!for me anyway.been converting for a while now but have come across my first ac3 audio film and im struggling, i have converted the ac3 to a wav file.
Usually the next step for me is to convert that 23.97fps .wav to a 25fps .mp2 But Besweet is not doing it and i dont understand why. im getting extremely frustrated because i cant se any reason why its not doing it, it just isnt, any ideas would be much appreciated.
    thanks guys!

    Hello

Do the framrate conversion when you do the AC-3 to WAV step. Then just feed your wave into TMPGEnc to get a MP2 audio file (assuming you use TMPGEnc for doing video).

Once you have the WAV file at the correct fps you can actually use ANY program that will convert it to MP2 ... not just BeSweet or TMPGEnc.

I've had trouble using BeSweet to go straight from AC-3 to MP2 while doing the framrate conversion. Hence I just convert the AC-3 to a WAV (doing the fps change in that step) then feed the WAV into TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 while I'm doing the video encoding.

I have a funning feeling (or guess if you will) that if you change the fps in the AC-3 to WAV step that BeSweet will then be able to take that "corrected" WAV and turn it into a MP2. You might also want to try going from AC-3 to AC-3 (doing the fps change) and THEN go from the "corrected" AC-3 to MP2 and see if that works.

    Hello

Well you have to use BeSweet and the BeSweet GUI first so you can do the fps change on the audio. You can either do it going from the original AC-3 to another AC-3 file or go from the original AC-3 to a WAV file.

After that you should be able to use either BeSweet or Headac3he to then create a MP2 file.

I use TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 (with the audio set to HIGH(SLOW) in the environmental settings) so in a case when I want MP2 sound to match my mpeg1/mpeg2 video I just use BeSweet for creating the WAV then feed it into TMPGEnc so I get a final mpeg file with sound.

    Please Note:
When you use BeSweet to transcode an AC-3 to an AC-3 the new AC-3 file will have a delay of "0" as BeSweet "fixes" it in the process.
