Got the DRU500AX,Can expert tell me how & what to instal

Hi,
Received my 500AX (infact I ordered a 500A 105 Days ago ). Meanwhile I read comments about the drive but all they did was to confuse me.
So here I am need some expert help on how to install the drive. Yes I can read the manual and do as it explains but I am asking if anbody has any helpfull "tips & tricks".
I also need advise on "which software to or not to install". For the time being all I want to do with it is to make exact copies of various dvd's.

IF you want an exact copies without reencoding, you will need DVDXcopy to copy your disk on 2 DVD-R

MenuEdit
Nero
