I ripped predator (widescreen DTS version) and although I encountered no problems at all during the entire process using IC7 there is no sound with the movie???? I selected DTS 5.1 in the audio portion and unchecked the others as well as subs. The movie itself was 70% or so of its original size. I am stumped why it has worked for my other movies and not this one. Any suggestions or help?

Also, when I play the original vob files there is sound, but not on the backup version.

does your entertainment equipment support DTS?

I know some people don't have a setup that will play DTS....that could be your problem

    just a guess.

    Your receiver must support DTS

  4. i tried the same thing, i removed all of the tracks except the dts track and it didnt work on my 5.1 system. You MUST have a dts receiver to get the sound. I reran it and selected the 5.1 track only and it worked fine.

My receiver (Sony HT-DDW840) supports dts unless IC7 does something to it that the receiver can't interpret. I guess I have to settle for dolby 5.1 track :P . I'll post results for posterity. Thanks for the input!
