I've been using TMPgenc Plus(3.16) for about 1/2 a year and have used the system (video & audio) format to backup my dvds. I just got Ulead Workshop with ac3 audio and I understand that I have to use ES (video only). My TMPGENC configurations are as follows:

VIDEO- MPEG2 Video, 720x480, 16:9 or 4:3, Frame rate=23.976(29.97 internally),Rate control mode=Automatic VBR, VBR buff=0 auto, MP@ML, NTSC, Encode Mode=3:2 Pulldown, 4:2:0, 8 bits, Motion Estimate Search

ADVANCED- Non Interlaced, Bottom field first, 16:9 525 line, Full screen keep aspect ratio

GOP Structure- 1,5,2,1 Force Picture Type Settings

When I use the encode mode 3:2 Pulldown and after 3 hours of encoding, my video skips ever other second, therefore, making my video and audio not being in sync. When I use a different encode mode such as non-interlaced, my video works fine. I understand that I have to use the 3:2 pulldown for the DVD player to play at 29.976 fps. Is it a TMPGENC thing or are my configurations wrong. Please help!

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.[/quote]
