Hi
I;ve started editing my friends weddign videos on his computer, to improve the quality, and look of them! The problem is, the video is slightly blurred and too much red, when you output it to TV! He has a ATI 9000 card, and I;m having to use composite out, as his video doesn;t support S-VHS input! The MPEG2 file I produce, is of good quality, and looks superb on the monitor, so the loss is not due to anything there! So I was wondering if there is anyway of improving the quality that is output to the TV? I have tinckered witht he gamma/brightness/contrast controls ont he TV out, and limited the red a bit, but it;s still not the same quality that is played back on the monitor! I know there is a utility called TVTools for the GeForce which improves the output quality to the TV, is there anything like that for the ATI, or any other way I could improve the quality?
Oh, I should mention, he is thinking of getting a new Video Recorder too, are there any that support firewire input too, or are they very expensive?
Thank you for all your help!
