I have 3 set top DVD players, 2 are fairly new, and have no problems playing and of my backed up movies. However, I also have a 3 year old Harman Kardon DVD player which is pretty picky about the media.
Samsung BeAlls seem to work best in the harman kardon, but for some reason, when I use DVD X Copy, then burn w/ Instant CD/DVD, it doesn't work. They all start fine, then after about 5 seconds the DVD player chokes and stops working.
However.. If I use Instantcopy (same company burning engine as Instant CD/DVD) the same movie, on the same media, works fine.
This seems really odd to me, as I assumed all DVD X Copy really does is rip the dvd and split it at a certain point.
BTW, the reason I don't use DVDXCopy to burn is b/c I've had compatibilty issues w/ nero before, and I like to take the DVD Copy warning out.
Any ideas on why this might be?
