    Im using DVD Shrink to encode video, but I am not allowed to ckeck the regions I want, the box is grayed out.
    Any suggestions.
    I'm ripping with DVD Decrypter

    why are you ripping the movie first why not just let dvdshrink do it for you see if that works

    I don't have the actual disk anymore, the movie is ripped to my hard drive.

    maybe decrypter already made it region free and that is interfering? nyway, after you author make sure to test out region compatability w/ a pc dvd program like powerdvd before burning. My version of shrink has problems creating region free compatible files, so i end up having to modify the ifos and bups with decrypter before burning.

    Check the size of the file you are to burn. It should be 4.38Gb or less.
