I have problems to authoring the movie recorded from my Nexus DVB card. The videostream of many channel is 3Mbit/s and 544x576 or 528x576 of resolution, but my authoring sw (MyDVD) re-encode this format to 720x576 with very bad quality result. Somebody have any solution?

Try DVD Patcher, you will find a link in the tool section. It patches the header, so hopefully your authoring tool will accept the stream.

Also, cheak out the DVD Lab authoring program. It cost reasonbly and helps with those resolutions.

I use DVDPatcher to patch the header of the video to dvd specs, create your video_ts folders and then run through DVD Patcher again to patch back to DVB format, test in your dvd player and see what happens. May not work, it does work on all of mine. So I suggest burning a RW disk for testing first.
Good Luck
