I want to replace my internal CDROM player with a DVDROM Player so that I can watch (and rip) DVDs on my B&W G3.
There are lots of inexpensive internal players on MacZone's website but they're all listed as being for PCs.
They're IDE/EIDE players. Can I slip one into the MAC and get it to work?
Any info appreciated. Thanks, Dave

You should check out this website:
http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/
Then go to the CDRW/CD/DVD/Hard Drive Compatibility Database Updates section.
