my Equipment: Canon GL1, Sony DRU500ax, 120 HD, and assorted software programs.
I want to make a home family DVD from my GL1 footage for TV viewing. What kind of resolution can I expect to view on the TV? Will it be full screen?
And how could I make a DVD of a full mens basketball game, shot with my GL1? It would be about 45 minutes worth of footage. Is there a way to get the full 45 minutes onto one DVD with only a 120MB Hard drive? Has anyone ever done this type of project?
Thanks, Dominic

45min would be no sweat at all -- in superb quality ..
you can get about 2 hours on a dvdr before starting to lose some noticable quality (but not much) ...
at 2.5 hours i would switch to 1/2 D1
120gig hard drive is plenty big enough .. you willl need only about 12 gig max got your whole project
