  1. I used DVD Shrink to make a 4.7Gig DVD-R copy of one of my DVD movies. Everything went OK except it does not play on my Pioneer DVD player with my stereo system. It does play with my PC DVD player but I must click on each VOB. How do I correct this? The finished product had the default PLS first followed by first IFO, first BUP, second IFO, second BUP, then the five VOB's in order. Am I missing something that should have been included?
    Thx Glenn

  2. Did you put all files in VIDEO_TS folder and include the AUDIO_TS, even though empty?

I had the same issues and abandoned DVDshrink. It was a first-version afterall, and too buggy for my tastes. I like it, but it needs to be better. The ouput doesn't appear to be standard DVD format. I went back to DVD2One for now. It's fine.

  5. The PLS extension is the playlist created when you used a software DVD player to view the DVD file on the HDD. Delete the PLS file and try burning it again.

No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

I doubt it. I'm not a fan of DVD backups, I work with raw video all the time. I think the program makes something nonstandard, as my player rejects it. All others are "okay." The quality of the shrink also has some issues.

I like it, but just not this early version. I'm hoping they'll update it. Lots of complaints about this program so far in the forums. Tends to happen to new software. I have faith it'll be better next go-around.

  8. DVDShrink (the software) will end at version 1.3, but DVDShirnk (the author) is working on a paid version of it called DVD Backup Studio and is scheduled for release in June.
