I use CCE to re-encode the movie so it fits on a DVD+R
but how to i get my ac3 track into the mpeg2 file? what program should i use?
before authoring the movie file

that is part of the authoring...
you can use SpruceUp or DVDMaestro, or Scenarist, or ifoedit -
I had problems playing this on settop player - Pioneer 525. I used bbmpeg to mux the .m2v and .ac3 and used MyDVD to author and burn the dvd. I used sony DVD+RW and Meritline DVD-RW and both discs didn't work on my settop player.
But it works fine on my Toshiba M-1502 and Sony DRU500ULX drives.
Do you think this is media problem or does the AC3 have to be in specific format ?
