i just ripped a dvd and everyone is bluse what could have happen is there a way to get by this. or is the dvd companys catching up?

When I have my s-video cable unplugged from my capture card the capture screen is all blue (like a VCR with no tape inside). Perhaps you have a cable installed wrong. You should double check your conections.

Seriously, though. There is no way to help based on the information you gave. What movie specs, what software are you using to rip it. It is on the monitor blue and the Cd is fine or vice versa.... -
I had this problem couple of week ago. PowerDVD was corupted (or the DVD player it install anyway)
Try reinstalling DVD software player. -
well I ahve been ripping directly from my dvd player the movie is hot chick. i have a lot of movies and this 1 plus barbershop comes out with the people being blue. I am not capturing or anything just plan ol ripping from dvd using dvd shrink. all the other movies have been perfect.. should I use another software besides dvd shrink?
