  1. Ok, here's my problem...
    As the kids were growing up, I mostly took video instead of hard copy pics. Now, I have everything transferred from 8mm film to DVD in large .vob files (4, one-gig blocks per disk). Tonight, my son tells me he needs some pictures of himself as an infant for his kindergarten class, TOMORROW. So what I have been trying to find in your forums, and what I need to do is obvious...I need to get a printable picture from one of these .vob file DVD movies. Of course, I don't have any idea how to do this. I have a new Dell with plenty of movie software, as I purchased the DVD burner with the system. Please help, and soon....

  2. You can use VirtualDubMod. Open your VOBs in VirtualDubMod, find the frame you want, copy side A or B (ctrl+1 or ctrl+2 for B), paste into Photoshop or any other picture editor.
