I have a DVD with LPCM / 2ch / 48kHz / 16bit / audio track. I am trying to make a VCD out of it.
Usually I do this as follows:
1. Rip with Smart Ripper
2. Encode to mpeg with Flask
3. Burn with Nero.
For some reason, the audio is missing from the resulting mpeg file in the above step #2.
Appreciate any input on this problem.

you can use dvd2avi to extract the audio from the vobs,
and convert it to mpeg audio using tmpeg.
after you convert it, multiplex it with the video using tmpeg's mpeg tools.
