    yea thats basically the question, ive managed to make AVI's with it but ive gone off them now with my new dvd player that will play VCD's and SVCD's. i know i should look through the program more, but i couldnt seem to find anything. the box that comes up when you start it up gives templates but they were all for AVI. so yea, im wondering how can you make mpegs with premier?

    Yes. If you have 6.5: File > Export Time Line > Adobe MPEG Encoder. Any kind of MPEG; DVD, VCD, SVCD.

    6.0: File > Export Time Line > Save for Web.
    This one is not for VCDs i think.
