  1. Hey Guys..

I final made my first backup of my origanal movie The Bourne Identity with DVD2ONE v1.1.3.

but when I play the movie it makes a fast break in the movie at chapter 17 and than plays on the rest of the movie with no problem. how come there is that break?

I than tested my original movie, and there was now break at that chapter.

Could any one tell me if I did something wrong?

  2. Well i think it's the software DVD2ONE, that made the problem, I just ran into a new problem, this time it freeze the picture, i've have to push the foward og next on my remote..to skip that scene after that it works pefectly....

    I've triede to burn with 1x, 2x and 4x. on a DVD-RW..

    my steps

    1. DVD decrypter
    2. DVD2ONE - FULL DISC

Does anyone had same problem or do anyone have a solution to my problem plz help me

  3. It could be the layer change if the org. is a DVD-9. Some decryption apps get a little flaky there because some DVD's change the key for the second layer it can even yeild a slight pause on the commercial copy in some cases ie alot of the James Bond flicks have this problem if you wanna call it that. They always have a new decryption key on the second layer and a lot of set tops actually pause a slight MS that you can barely tell but still notice.

  4. thanks for the reply Quigonsean

Yes I know that in DVD-9 there is a layer change and therefor there will be a slight pause in the movie, but with the original there is no layer change at that scene where it makes in the backup disc i made..

I wouldn't be strange for me if the slight pause on the original would show on the same backup DVD-r i made, but it doesn't!!?

Well the freezing sounds like media. The break??? no clue.
Try in just movie mode. I use 4450MB for size...what size are you using and what program are you burning with?

  8. about the same as you, just completed the movie with the little pause with DVDshrink instead of DVD2one.. the film plays nice and smooth with no problem at all.
But the quality is a little bit poor than the DVD2ONE makes, but I'm cool with it.

Later today i'll try the movie with the breaking issue to see if it's really the medie that makes the breaking problem in the movie.
