    I have got an Alba 113 DVD player which will not pla MPEG/VCR. even though it says VCR on the front of the player,It is multi region I have converted from MPEG to VCR mode with VCDeasy still will not play? is their a software update anyware for this machine I have been messing about with it for a few weeks now and asking a lot questions any help please (M)

    have you checked the dvd players list on the left? try using the same process and same CD-rs as someone who says it works. if it doesn't, return it.
    oh, and i assume you meant VCD and not VCR
