I have a music video, avi, some 600 mb, that I would like to convert to mpg, in order to burn it on a vcd.
But when I select it in TmpcEnc, nothing goes into the sound source line - by itself, at least, as it normally does, when taking a video from my videocamera.
BUT: If I simply double click the file, it runs nicely with Windows media player, sound and all, as it should.
So the sound is there - just how do I get it converted together with the video??
What is the correct/best/easiest way to handle this??
    THanks .
    Thanks -
    Ps.

Manually select the audio input and then select the original video.

Nope - when I do that, it says "xxxthe file etc..Can Not open or unsupported"..???
By right clicking on the file, and checking properties, it tells me that the audio format is "windows media Audio V2"....if that means anything to anyone..?

You can try to load the original video into Gold Wave. If it loads, just save it to wave format.
