    How can i author a SVCD to automatically play when I insert it into my dvd player? I have a Pioneer DV-333. When I insert a SVCD or VCD, the display shows there is a VCD in the player, but it doesnt automatically play it.

    i have a pioneer dv-444 and I also have to press play to play vcd or svcd. It doesn't matter how I author the vcd/svcds.

    Thanks for the quick response.
    Really? Im confused, someone on IRC says his Pioneer DV-444 automatically plays SVCD when loaded. Is there a list of players that support this feature?

    What svcd authoring program do you use? I am using VCDEASY. Would that make a difference?
