Powerdvd won't play dvd+rw made by dvdxcopy

I just backed up a dvd using dvdxcopy that is less than 4gigs to a dvd+rw. I tried to play it in powerdvd, but i get a message saying that it cannot be played because it exceeds parental control. the movie is rated PG. I configured powerdvd to play a dvd with any rating. It asks for my password which I give. It acts like it will play, but then i get the same window asking for a password. It does this over and over. If I play the individual vob files in powerdvd, it plays fine. Anybody know of a way to fix this?
